In ‘The Landlady’s Humil­i­a­tion’, is hard-​hitting and haunt­ing story of the price a 43 year old wife has to pay upon return­ing to her mar­riage fol­low­ing a doomed love affair with a much younger man. Her hus­band, humil­i­ated and venge­ful, exacts a high price for her return. Vividly told, the author takes us into the heads of her char­ac­ters and the sor­did and often bru­tal world they inhabit.

In ‘Sex­ual Black­mail’ a cor­rupt prison offi­cer sys­tem­at­i­cally preys on the wives, moth­ers and daugh­ters of the pris­on­ers he has locked up. In order to keep their men­folk safe, they must exchange sex­ual favours of the most degrad­ing kind.

In ‘Fuck­rag Mummy’ A respectable middle-​class woman has a dark com­pul­sion to seek sex­ual grat­i­fi­ca­tion in the high-​crime ‘slum’ part of town. She is a Senior Parole Offi­cer and fatally com­pro­mises her­self by offer­ing her body to a young male client. She finds out the hard way that bru­tal real­ity is much harsher than any fantasy.

‘The Per­vert Within’: Harry Sten­ton is a man with a past, a man with many secrets. For most of his life he has been a bru­tal sadis­tic ser­ial rapist: a vio­lent man, with­out pity or remorse. He con­sid­ers rape an art form, and him­self its mas­ter. But then he meets Rosie, and The beast within is tamed and their rela­tion­ship flour­ishes. Until he dis­cov­ers that Louise isn’t quite the pure and inno­cent girl he has idolised. A ‘chance’ dis­cov­ery shows Harry a very dif­fer­ent girl; a girl he sees as being like all the other women he has known…

‘Land­lady in the Gut­ter’: Each night Joanne Maxwell sub­mits her body to the humil­i­a­tions and degra­da­tions of strangers in order to obtain the money she needs for her son’s habit. She lives on a high-​crime slum estate. She gets the money her way, to pro­tect him from going back to prison by get­ting it his way. Her whole life is dom­i­nated by his needs. Or is it? Is this really help­ing him by feed­ing his habit? But does her son see her nightly out­ings in the same way? How does he really feel about what she does? When a fig­ure from his murky past re-​appears in their lives, Joanne realises that she has an addic­tion of her own, and things and much more com­pli­cated than she thought.

‘Sex Slave to a Stranger’ is an explicit story about a suc­cess­ful woman’s secret life of sex­ual servi­tude. Sally is a pop­u­lar sur­geon; well-​respected, finan­cially secure, with a seem­ingly per­fect life. But her pri­vate life is a dis­as­ter. She is a mass of unful­filled per­verse desire, and failed rela­tion­ships. She is unhappy and frustrated.…and then an intrigu­ing text from an anony­mous man changes that life for­ever. She finds her­self pulled into a series of humil­i­at­ing and degrad­ing tasks which take her out of her pam­pered every­day world into a sor­did world of sex­ual servi­tude with strangers. Choice is taken away from her and sally learns the hard way that she is not the per­son she always thought she was.
